[resolved] Can't "upgrade" (OpenID) account

Hi there,

Some time ago I registered to Planet SOC as a ‘passer by’. I used OpenID to do that.

Now I am actually a SOC student, but I can’t change my account settings to reflect that. If I login with OpenID (user id 211) and I go to the account settings I get the following error message:

Access denied
You are not authorized to access this page.

Perhaps the easiest solution is to delete the account so I can create a new one. But I can not delete the account myself.

P.S.

I could not submit this form while logged in; I got an error “Validation error, please try again. If this error persists, please contact the site administrator.”

your account was blocked for

your account was blocked for some reason, I set it now to active. You will be able to log in now (hopefully, if not just let me know)

Yeah, OpenID module and moderated accounts...

Don’t seem to work very well together. :\

All users start out as blocked by default, until an admin approves their account and sets it “Active” and then adds them to the “soc participant” role so that they can post blog feeds.

The problem appears to be that OpenID registrants don’t complete the full form or… something. Anyway, we’ll figure it out. :)

Sorry to be a pita...

..but I’m also suffering this - think it’s because I didn’t fill out the profile stuff before my account got accepted. Oops :)
