The downside of being early with things, and getting in touch with the git maintainers/mentors is that by now I already had all my feedback. Because of that, right now, that is, during the “application period” (which was extended by 1 week to make things worse!), I’m not getting any comments on my application at all! Ah well, what I heard from the git people, “no news is good news”! So until 18 April (so far, far away!) I’ll have to be patient!
Meanwhile I got a hold of some Jørn Lande albums. They are totally amazing, I already knew I like his voice from his appearance on Avantasia’s “Scarecrow” and Ayreon’s “01011001”, but I didn’t expect it to be that good! Well, maybe I did a little bit, but this is definitely a band I’d like to see live sometime. I should see about getting those Masterplan albums he did, I have one Masterplan cd already, and it’s not bad at all either.
On a wholly different note, I did my last (and second :P) test for this semester. I do think I like only having 2 tests, but then again, it’s the 3rd semester, which is kinda a “in between” semester. Since some subjects last 2 semesters the 1st and 3rd semester usually have less tests than the 2nd and 4th. It gave me a lot of time to code though, and Unsigned Byte (shameless plug) has made a lot of progress. I’m really proud of the generic DAL I made, and I’m contemplating announcing it on freshmeat.
Hmmm, that’s it for now I guess, back to coding?
